Originally from Baton Rouge, LA, Jennifer started playing guitar at the age of 9. After which, she played guitar in several church worship teams for 12 years .
Jennifer started playing professionally with her sister, JoAnna Janét, soon after graduating from MTSU in Murfreesboro, TN and was fortunate enough to perform with JoAnna on The Grand Ole Opry in 2002.
After the birth of her son, Samuel, Jennifer began playing on a regular basis with her sister, Jessica Janét Brock, in Shreveport, LA.
In 2006, Jennifer joined a Houma, LA based rock band, Sons of William, playing bass. She recorded 2 albums and toured with the group for 5 years, while still remaining a member of several different bands back home.
The idea for "Spectra Vamp," came about in early 2015, after Jennifer's sister, Jessica, won a vocal competition. Heavily influenced by several different styles of music, Jennifer began writing and recording songs for the project with no set genre in mind. The multi-genre album, "Attention" was completed in 2016 and released digitally in February 2017.
Daniel ”D-Nice” Nelson
D-Nice started playing drums at 10 years old at school. He knew then that’s what he wanted to do the rest of his life. At 15 he started playing drums and singing at his church and in his first hard rock band.
Since, he’s played all over the United States and abroad with various bands and artists.
Hailing from Shreveport, LA, Wesley Garcia has been playing bass with different local and regional artists since 1995. A jazz cat ‘s touch with a punk rocker sensibility, to Wesley there are no rules. “The music has to have a living and breathing soul. I go with my gut and seek out the appropriate nuances to fit the mood. I love the art of live music- energy, sweat and accomplishment.”
Wesley met Jennifer some years ago and they began sharing the stage in various local cover bands, but Spectra Vamp certainly stokes the fire of creativity for Wesley. “The ability to collaborate with such an amazing songwriter and musicians is really at the end of the day what it is about. There is no better feeling.” An artist in his own right, along with playing bass, Wesley enjoys creating different mediums of abstract art and writing poetry and music.

Ryan loves to be a part of anything creative, especially when it deals with music. He has been singing ever since he can remember. He started on the piano in 4th grade, and started playing guitar in college. Ryan sang and played in church for many years, and played with others, but has never felt more at home as he does now with this "kick ass family of musicians."
